The members of the Rand Avicultural Society are granted access to our interactive whatsapp chat group where all kinds of birds are discussed. The club ranges from beginner to experts alike, all sharing the same podium where they can ask questions and share knowledge and ideas with other members with regards to the species they keep or just birdkeeping in general. Our monthly meetings also takes place on the chat group giving an equal spread to our members accross the country. Some of our fun activities include monthly raffles which are mostly birds, occasional aviary visits and other events. We have a year end get together paid for in full by the club, with a super raffle generating a lot of interrest every year. We also have one or two birdshows a year catering for our members who like to exibit their birds. We also have a whatsapp sales group where our members can advertise birds for sale or ask for birds wanted.
Membership fees are R300.00 per year and gives you access to all of the above and so much more.
